We were very sad to hear the news of the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, we feel she will be remembered for many years to come as a truly iconic and inspiring woman. 

There are so many interesting traditions surrounding the Monarchy. The fact that Queen Elizabeth II owns all of the unclaimed swans in England and Wales is one of those curiosities from times gone by. Each year there is a five-day event called the Swan Upping, where the swans living around Windsor are counted and ringed, it sounds like something worth seeing!  

We thought a little swan would be a nice way to remember Her Majesty, and wanted to share the pattern with you.
